-Owner, birth & postpartum doula, massage therapist, MotherMassage Therapist, Certified Arvigo® Practioner, placenta encapsulation specialist, Craniosacral therapist

Sarah brings 18 years of experience to her clients.  In 2001 she graduated from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy, passed her national board exam and became nationally certified and a Connecticut licensed massage therapist; she began working in her own private practice as well as spending 7 years in a busy physical therapy clinic.  She has treated patients with every type of injury imaginable and specialized in chronic pain management and sports rehab for many years.  Building on what she learned practicing massage she began studies in women's reproductive health by obtaining her birth doula certification.  She attended midwifery training at WomanCraft Midwifery Education in Amherst, Massachusetts and then went on to complete her postpartum doula certification through Sudharma Institute and placenta encapsulation training with International Placenta & Postpartum Association.  She is also a certified MotherMassage® therapist, an additional training in prenatal massage.  One of her favorite modalities of work is Arvigo® Maya Abdominal Therapy.  The Arvigo Techniques assist to reposition internal organs that have shifted, thereby restricting the flow of blood, lymph, nerve and chi, aiding in infertility, PMS symptoms and so much more.

Sarah earned her Bachelor's of Science degree from Northeastern University in Boston with a major in Healthcare Administration and Biology.   Currently she is attending Naturopathic Medical School at the University of Bridgeport; and is a 2020 Doctoral Candidate she is also earning a Master’s in Science in Clinical Nutrition simultaneously.  She is working towards certification through The Institute of Functional Medicine and plans to specialize in women's health through all life stages including healthy pregnancies and healthy babies! She was awarded the position of being the University Campus Student representative for Bach Flower Remedies.  She loves teaching and sharing her knowledge with others.  Sarah makes every effort to meet the needs of all her clients and feels truly honored to have the privilege to work with each person she meets.
